What is Creativity?
Many students are already involved in activities that are creative. Some sing, play a musical instrument, dance, paint, or sculpt. These are all activities that would count towards the CAS creative requirement. There are also other forms of creativity that you may not have thought about. Creatively planning a community service project, working on a neighborhood mural, sharing a craft with children or elderly people, teaching, photography, sewing, cooking, designing a website, participating in a drama production, and writing poetry are also creative activities. Be creative when you are planning your activities. Some activities will be a combination of creative, active and service. When you are thinking of creative activities to count in your CAS program, think of talents you have or activities that you have always wished you could do.
